There is always room for you. We’d love to host you at any of the upcoming events or network gatherings.

to train, advocate, & collaborate.
The Church of Jesus is healthiest when both men & women are empowered to fulfill their calling at every level of ministerial leadership.
We believe that women are among the church’s greatest untapped resources and if we want to see the Kingdom of God continue to advance, we need to equip more women to lead future churches and ministries.
Train | We want to equip women in ministerial and leadership competencies through development nights.
Advocate | We want to advocate for women leading on all levels of ministerial leadership by creating safe spaces to connect, facilitating education opportunities for both men and women, and helping women discover their call.
Collaborate | Through the gathering of women ministers from across the city, we hope to create opportunities to collaborate with individuals who are just like you!

We want to equip women in ministerial and leadership competencies and that is what these nights are designed to do. Come join us for an evening of development, networking with other female ministers, and some yummy snacks and drinks. We can’t wait to see you there!

Times in women-only gatherings are so edifying for women pastors and leaders. However, we must also participate in gatherings with our male counterparts to see true diversity emerge in all levels of ministerial leadership. Consider joining a NewThing Network in Kansas City.
NewThing exists to help you connect with other like-minded pastors in Kansas City, become friends on mission, and advance church planting efforts in our city.
With NewThing networks meeting monthly throughout the city there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

The NewThing Movement System is our field-tested, road-ready pathway to help you make an impact and become a Movement Maker. Janet McMahon will be leading a cohort for women in January. You can express your interest here.
